About Us
The Elephant Trunk was born out of love. Relationships are hard enough, but true love does exist in all successful relationships. It is not always easy to show how much you care or that you appreciate your partner for everything they do. Our company embraces the classical romance, the humorous private moments & the struggles of modern relationships.
Founded by a couple of kids who fell in love in college, had a bunch of kids and continue to fight and fall in love over and over again. We do this through an understanding of perspective and an unwavering appreciation for the bond we have together.
Giving up is easy. With a little bit of imagination, creative flair and laughter, you can experience a whole new level of Love.
I met my wife in 2003, I think. We were in college. I was in love instantly. From the first time I saw her, I knew we would be married. We dated for a few years and were married in August of 2008. We had our first child in October of 2009, our second child in December of 2010, third child in May of 2013, and fourth child in November of 2015. Needless to say, in this moment between work and life, its hard to focus on each other. In 2011, I started randomly sending my wife Thank You letters and unexpected surprises. Some of the notes were funny, some very serious, some romantic, but all of them very emotional.
This gestured largely went unnoticed, until we started talking about it with our friends and peers. Lots of my husband counterparts could not believe i did this, and their wives were smitten by the idea. Naturally as a marketer and business man, I started to think this could be more. However, life continued to get in the way.
It was not until I met a very talented young businessman did i realize what this could be and the value that my simple gestures could bring to a relationship.
The elephant is a symbol of luck and positivity for me. A figure I cary with me to this day. My little elephant sits on the dashboard of my car or i carry him in my pocket so i can always keep a positive perspective.
The Elephant Trunk will never be about me or you, but about us and we.
